Does anyone work at MDA or Methodist Katy ER? Are they crazy busy?
Just curious if it is crazy busy in either of these two ERs.
I just had a major surgery on 9/27 (80% of my pancreas and spleen removed) and I think I'm having pancreatitis in the remaining 20% of my pancreas.
I'm in agony, but terrified to go to the ER because of COVID and I don't want to wait in a waiting room for 19 hours…I just can't do that.
I would prefer to go to MD Anderson, where they did my surgery…but its a long way for me to get there to be turned away…
Anyone have any insight into how crazy busy either Methodist Katy or MDA is right now? Would I even get seen or are they drowning in COVID?
