Does anyone know why all the good asian food businesses in the I45 area of Webster/Galveston County area seem to never stick around?
Maybe this is anecdotal, or maybe I'm not seeing it, but unless it is sushi or Ramen, every Asian business that tries to pop up around Webster/League City on I45 seems to close down or never open up at all.
We loved 85 Degrees and they always seemed business, all of the pastries were amazing, but they shut down/disappeared around covid. I don't really remember their business slowing down during the beginnin of COVID, but maybe I'm wrong. Regardless, that was literallt the only (visible) asian bakery we had.
Next is KPot. They had a banner up near the Hooters by the NASA bypass. 'Alright, a Korean hotpot place!' We said, yet it has been a year or so and never materialized, and the banner silently disappeared.
What gives?
And yes, I know we have Japanese hot pot and Korean BBQ hidden away on the north side of clear lake. I'm just speaking to variety in general.
