Does anyone know the best way to deal with springtails?

I’ve never experienced them before coming to Houston. At different times of year they come in through my windows and drains and will be hanging out in my sink or on window sills at night. They don’t really do anything, but it’s sorta just gross that they’re there.

I’ve asked 2 different exterminators and neither has been able to give me a good answer. I also bought a spray from the hardware store, but it doesn’t seem to be working that well. I also tried diatomaceous earth, but that only helped temporarily.

Would love any advice on how to get rid of these guys or if anyone has a really good exterminator
