Does anyone know if HISD is currently hiring teachers?

As hard as it is to imagine going into your first year of teaching this year…. that is my situation. It’s my only career option at the moment. I know most people think that getting a teaching job must be easy right now but unfortunately for others like me, it’s not. 🙁 I’m certified in EC-6, and love kinder/1st. Prospects aren’t looking great and as horrible as this is making an already devastating year, uplifting students is something I’m missing in my life.
