Does anyone have experience loading games into an Anbernic RG35XX?

I bought one for my son for Christmas and unfortunately it came with no games installed. I've tried to download the OS and install games to an SD card but I wasn't able to do it.

I'm looking for someone to help me. I can definitely pay you for your time or buy you lunch.
