Does anyone have any +/- experiences to share regarding rental companies?

I'm wondering what everyone's experiences with rental companies in the Houston metro area are. Progress, First Key, Tricon, Mynd, AmericanHomes4Rent, and Resihomes are the only companies that come to mind but I'm sure there are more.

I can start:

First Key Homes has been very unresponsive regarding many of our issues. They're much more responsive when taking our money than when providing fixes to pretty big issues (AC during summer, heat during winter, flooding in home, etc). Overall they're not great, though I wouldn't rule out staying with them again if they can actually fix our issues.
