Does anyone else think the bar scene seems kinda dead post covid?

I don't go out that much anymore nowadays compared to when I was just out of college, but whenever I do midtown, wash ave, and downtown seem dead. Saturday seems like the only day with any sort of crowd. Has Houston just aged out of partying? It was never a great city for it, but this is just depressing.
