Does Anyone Else Find It Extremely Difficult To Meet People In Houston?

Why is this??

I sometimes wonder if it's because I moved here during the pandemic but I have a feeling its not. It seems I have have more luck meeting people in Austin. You would think it would be the other way around since houston is bigger. Is it just me? If so, any suggestions? Thanks
