Does anybody else feel like Houston has zero national attention?

I feel like Houston has essentially no pop-culture footprint. Sure Houston has individual artists like Beyoncé and Lizzo or Wes Anderson and but they don't carry a Houstonian association at all (this is not a dig at them). Is Houston just that nondescript?
