Do you guys actually enjoy living here?

Long story short my wife and I moved here because of a job offer I couldn’t resist hence my throwaway “/u” and I’m looking for tips to enjoy the H-town

I am struggling to enjoy this place and need advice to find what Houston has to offer. The only thing fun to do here is eat food and the museum district I’ve noticed, keyword “I”. What makes this place special? No offense please don’t attack but Houston is underwhelming for its size and a bit generic and I just can’t find the allure of it. Everything is so spread out and requires a car I’m just not used to this.

In Chicago everything is right in your face and dense. It has everything you’d expect the 3rd largest city to have. Any beauty around here too? Chicago has Lake Michigan which is gorgeous. I’m used to the flatness so not really complaining about that.

Any tips? And please don’t remove mods this is a genuine ask. TIA!
