Do you enjoy live in Houston TX?

I am moving to HOU in six months from Argentina. I am 25 years old, I have no friends or family there. I was offered a job and I accepted it, but I know almost nothing about life in Houston or in the USA in general, more than what I see in movies, news.

Are there any Latino communities there? What neighborhood would you recommend me to live in? In a good place for a young woman? I have a job (I still don't know my salary), the rest I have no idea.
