Do Texans fans think Caserio is the guy to lead the way?

Full disclosure, I am a Jets fan who has adopted other teams (Giants, Bears, Panthers, etc.) in my misery. I have seen the pain of bad GMs. I have a lot of family in Houston and would like to see the Texans do well. But Caserio frustrates me…I'd like to see him succeed, but do Texans fans think he can do the job? This is how I see his work to date:

  1. Culley takes a bad squad that people expect to win 0 or 1 game. Wins 4 games, including beating genius Brandon Staley in a game people say the Chargers missed 35 players due to Covid – but the Texans missed 38 players. Culley coaches these boys up, but they fire him after one year. Why?
  2. Lovie is hired, the squad is improved, but the team actually wins fewer games. Not only that, but supposedly Lovie is told his job is in jeopardy before the final game, so what kind of speech do you think he gives? The squad wins the last game costing the no. 1 pick.
  3. Instead of quickly trading up with the Bears, Caserio tries to bluff Poles ('yeah, we could take Stroud or Young') but Poles quickly moves to take another deal when Caserio delays. The draft silly season combine hype goes away and people lose interest in non-Bryce Young QBs. Turns out thats who the Texans wanted after all. Doh! Now the pick at no. 2 may not even be a QB.

I would love to visit family in Houston with the town rocking with a good Texans squad. Do you think this can happen with Caserio at the helm?
