Do not Stay at Staybridge Suites Lake Jackson
My wife travels to houston once a week for work. She books prepaid usually a month in advance. She shows up to the hotel at 9pm which is normally when she gets in. The Manager Barry Wu tells her she doesn't have a room and her card was declined. Which is a lie we checked they never ran her card. Their policy is to charge the card on the day of the stay and my wife offered her card to try to charge it but he said no.
He was very rude the whole time and loudly telling her he can't give her a room unless she gets a suite. Leaving the hotel out she is followed out by a creepy guest asking her if she wants to sleep on his couch in his room.
After contacting IHG they made a case number and then next day barry wu sent a generic email saying I heard about your complaint and I hope you can stay with us again in the future.
I hope this post is ok, I just don't want this to happen to anyone else.
