Do Houston cops care about tinted windows ?

I was recently given a truck by my father in law , the windows are tinted dark as hell and I’m definitely planning on changing the driver and passenger side windows bc at night it is very hard to see the lanes while driving . But my #1 concern is being pulled over for them , I’ve been driving and even had a cop behind me and did not get pulled over but it gives me crazy anxiety while driving and I hate it .
