Did you care about the Astros moving from the NL to the AL?

Not an Astros fan but this is something I was always curious about. It made sense to move someone from the NL to balance it out since there were 16 NL teams and 14 AL teams at the time. When the Astros moved I know they were terrible so I would think that maybe such a move and rebrand would’ve been welcome by fans to sort of start a new chapter, and as we know since then the Astros have been the premier AL powerhouse. But anyways like I said, at the time it was announced, were you guys in favor of it? Against? Indifferent? Was leaving the league that you’d been in for 50+ years a big deal to you?
