Did I just get unlucky with Flying Saucer Pie Co?

Went to Flying Saucer Pie Co. For the first time because pie is my favorite dessert. Got a peach pie and it was…. underwhelming. The crust is okay, but the filling is 70/30 pie goo/peaches. There's spices too, but not much. I heard some hype around this place and am disappointed.

Wondering if I got the new-hire's first pie that day, or if this is their norm for fruit pies. I'll go back and get a banana cream pie at some point, maybe their cream ones will be better.

Anyone else have thoughts on this place?
