Did anyone else think Verlander was tipping his pitches in the second?

When Rodriguez was at bat during the second with Kelenic on second, Verlander’s mitt seemed to be wide open to second base behind him. As he started his windup from the stretch, his grip was clearly visible to Kelenic. The at bat saw one breaking ball and three fastballs. On the three fastballs Kelenic looked straight ahead, but on the breaking ball, Kelenic moved his head quickly to his left.

Sure enough, Rodriguez laid off and swung appropriately, resulting in a 2 RBI double. Did anyone else notice this?
