Developer sues Houston Housing Authority over proposed low-income development

A local real estate developer is seeking to block the city of Houston from moving ahead with a new affordable housing development near downtown, saying the city was attempting to use the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic to “slam a deal through” without the proper federal oversight.
