Dentist Help

So, I'm an idiot. I haven't been to the dentist in over 8 years. I'm a professional homeowning adult with insurance. I could give you the long rundown of why but it boils down to I'm a stubborn dumbass.

I went regularly through childhood and up til I was 27. Only ever had 1 cavity. Then I stopped. I'm starting to have issues and to be honest, I'm terrified and embarrassed. I know it's going to be long and painful and expensive. I don't really know where to start.

Anyone have a dentist recommendation hopefully inside the beltway, maybe one that specializes in idiots. Thanks.
