Denim alterations recommendations

Hi! Does anyone have a recommendation for denim alterations particularly for women? I would like to tailor my vintage Levi’s to fit my height (5’1) and size (23). I prefer reattach hems. I am terrified to ruin my jeans since I have been collecting them for a couple of years now.
