The DeMeco talk is wild. I saw a post where someone compared him to Robert Saleh. Someone else posted that we should keep CJ (didn’t know CJ was on the block 🤔) because he’d make this job attractive to potential HCs.

Demeco took over a 3 win team and led them to the playoffs his first yr. In 2 full seasons, he’s won the division both yrs and won a home playoff game both yrs. So 2-2 in the playoffs despite being a dawg in all 4 games. He’s NUMBER ONE in winning percentage in franchise history. He has the 3rd most wins all-time in just 34 games as HC. He’s tied for the most playoff wins in franchise history! His seat should be ice fucking cold!

The offense has been a MESS the last season and a half (though last yr it surprisingly turned around before Tank went down). He’s been too conservative (IMO) the last season and a half, but he doesn’t have the final call in personnel and it seems likely he doesn’t even have final call in OC. (Caley is a longtime Pats guy like Caserio. When Caserio was asked last yr about Slowik’s job security he didn’t say DeMeco’s call or anything like that, just that Bobby had their confidence.) And in Caserio’s defense, Howie Roseman hired the OC and DC in Philly, and they just won the SB. So it’s not completely unheard of the GM having that level of influence and control. My point is, DeMeco hasn’t had a losing season — not even one without winning the division and folks throwing dirt on his grave. Put some respect on my HC’s name.
