DeLorean Motor Co., once based in Houston area, plans HQ move

The original Detroit-based DeLorean Motor Co. went bankrupt in 1982, and the Humble-based company acquired the name in 1995 and has owned the largest remaining stockpile of original parts from the factory, U.S. stock and suppliers. Now, the move will give the brand a strategic location to pursue growth opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.
