Defunct Amusement Parks

I was reminiscing about some of the amusement/theme parks around Houston during the 80s and 90s. Of course most of us recall Astroworld/Waterworld,and Splashtown.
A few a had in mind that were not quite as successful but had a strong local showing were Fame City Waterworks, Peppermint Park, Celebration Station, and Hanna-Barbera Land. Does anyone have any fond memories/horror stories of any failed H-town attractions?
