Debt Collector trying to collect a Blink Fitness Gym Membership for a specific gym location that no longer exists & no longer managed by Blink Fitness

TLDR: I received an email from a debt collector law firm that I owe $146.14 for Blink Fitness Westchase when the Westchase location no longer exist (pooof disappear overnight) and Blink Fitness said they no longer managed that location.

Some backstory:

I've been with Blink Fitness Westchase since 2021. I had some mishaps with this gym where they overcharged me a membership (which I didn't sign up for) and charged "protein or energy drinks" on my account when I didn't even go to the gym that day. All of those were resolved after I directly contact the managers (imagine if I didn't and it just slip by) but some stories to let you know how incompetence this gym is.

On February 2025, this year, without giving notice or any announcement or information, the Westchase location closed unexpectedly.

I tried contacting their Blink Fitness Corporation customer service with my account number to request for cancellation because that was the obvious thing to do if the location doesn't exist, and all I got back was, "This Location is under New Management and no longer managed by Blink Fitness."

I tried cancelling on their app and they said my account does not exist.

I mailed letter up to corporation New York address and didn't hear anything back.

I still continued to received email from different locations Blink Fitness Spring Branch & Blink Fitness Northline asking me to pay for a gym that's no longer exist and no longer managed by Blink Fitness.

And a couple days ago, I received an email from a debt collector law firm with an "easy payment plans to pay off my $146.14 balance with Blink Fitness."

All I'm saying, this is the most predatory attempt to get money I've ever seen. How can they (collector) said they're from Blink Fitness when Blink Fitness Corporation/Customer Service themselves said they're no longer managed by Blink Fitness?

This is my attempt to seek advice because I know others might be going through the same things as me with this location.
