Dealership scam

Received this advertisement in the mail for Houston CDJR with a scratch off indicating I won a prize of instant cash of $2500. Called the number and they indicated I won and needed to go to the dealership with my ticket to claim my prize. Read the fine print and didn’t see anything else indicating it was only to go towards a car or anything like that. When I get to the dealership there was a booth I was directed to along with a gentleman that stated everybody who is mailed this gets the same code to get people into the dealership in hopes they would purchase a vehicle. His words not mine. Then he states there is a winning number and that will get matched to a number on a board to indicate what prize will be won. I told him it’s pointing to the $2500 prize and he stated it based off a winning code not the scratch off. I feel scammed and misled by this advertisement. I drove all the way over there with my whole family packed in the car thinking I won $2500. What can be done?
