Texans rookie quarterback Davis Mills 'I feel like I’ve done pretty well so far. Obviously, it’s a new experience. Being in Houston meeting all the new teammates and coaches, I’ve definitely learned a lot so far. I've had to pick it up fast.'

Texans' Davis Mills on what he learned from 'It was tremendously helpful. What I did at Stanford, a lot of pro-style systems. A lot of the base concepts we did at Stanford really allowed me to come in with a little bit of a head start.'

Texans' Davis Mills on Tyrod Taylor 'A lot of it is just knowledge of the game. Professionalism and how he comes in and works every day. I look up to him and I’m definitely looking forward to getting the opportunity to learn under him.'

Texans' Davis Mills on signing first NFL contract: 'It was a little surreal. It's something you dream about since you were a little kid. You think of the business side of football. When you put the pen down on paper, it’s pretty cool.'

Texans' Davis Mills on rookie year goals: 'I mean, I wouldn’t say any goals on the field. I have a lot to prove and a lot to prove to myself, too. Learn the offense is the No. 1 goal right now.'
