Dating in Houston

A single father here in early 40's. An Indian. I look much younger than my age. I'm trying to look for a date in and around Houston. I am decent looking but not very successful in dating scene yet. What am I missing about Houston or myself? What do non-Indian females out here think about such demographic for dating in Houston? I have tried dating apps with great bio and pics but not much luck.
