Dallas PE firms back Houston energy startup
Two Dallas-based private equity firms are backing a new Houston upstream oil and gas company, Eagle Mountain Energy Partners LLC.
Eagle Mountain was founded with backing from Pearl Energy Investments and NGP Energy Capital, according to Jan. 29 press release. Eagle will focus on acquisition and development opportunities primarily in the Williston Basin — which spreads over North and South Dakota, Montana, and Saskatchewan — and other production regions along the Rocky Mountains.
