Daily dose of Yordan (Game 39)

Today's statline: 1-4, single

At bat 1: 4 pitch flyout to center

After taking the first two pitches for balls, Yordan watched an inside curve for a strike and then hit a lower curve into left center field, where unfortunately it was caught.

At bat 2: 3 pitch single to center

Another textbook at bat for Yordan, taking two balls well off the plate before swiftly brushing a low fastball into center field for a single.

At bat 3: 2 pitch lineout to right

After taking a low ball, Yordan made really good contact on a low offspeed pitch and pulled it well into right, but Dahl made a nice catch to rob Yordan of what was probably a double.

At bat 4: 5 pitch flyout to center

After once again taking two fastballs for balls, Yordan fouled off two pitches, one fastball and one offspeed inside and then hit a low offspeed to center field pretty well, but where Garcia caught it for the out.

Again Yordan got pinch hit for in the bottom of the 8th, kinda surprising considering he was hitting the ball extremely well and had some really hard hit outs. Overall he was getting really unlucky, he had some very good at bats with good batted balls that just ended up being caught.
