Daily dose of Yordan (Game 27)

At bat 1: 6 pitch walk

At bat 2: 6 pitch strikeout swinging

At bat 3: 2 pitch lineout to center

At bat 4: 6 pitch flyout to center

While it may look like Yordan had an off day, I still saw a lot of promise today. He did have a couple deep flyouts to center, which does seem to be a trend, he had some yesterday as well. Both were pretty well hit, so with a slight change in launch angle those are probably out. He was a bit passive today, as seen by his plate appearances, but he also was excellent at finding the pitches he wanted, as seen by his first at bat and to a lesser extent his 2nd and 4th at bats. Once again, Yordan, even with a 0-3 in the box score, was a positive influence, helping move the lineup along and making pitchers work. The home runs will come soon.
