Daily dose of Yordan (Game 22)

At bat 1: 5 pitch double to right, RBI

At bat 2: 3 pitch single to center

At bat 3: 5 pitch strikeout swinging

At bat 4: 5 pitch single to center

Overall another great day for Yordan. Today was just overall a perfect game fundamentals wise, as he was locating and taking the outside pitches for strikes, and taking what the pitchers gave him (low fastballs on both of his singles) and dumping it into left center for a hit. Even on his one strikeout I was pleased with how he was fouling off the pitches high in the zone with a two strike count before missing on his one kryptonite zone low and away, if you can even call it that. I also was really impressed with his double to deep right, it definitely looked gone of the bat and he did a nice job running on the hit. In total it was a masterful night for Yordan both fundamentally and in the box score, hopefully soon he hits home runs to go with his strike zone mastery, but you can't really ask for more than what he did today.
