Cy-Fair ISD, Texas Legislature prioritize school safety heading into 2023-24 school year

Cy-Fair ISD’s Chief Financial Officer Karen Smith said the district should receive an additional $1.4 million per year for safety via House Bill 3—about 3% of what the district already planned to spend on safety measures in 2023-24.
