Currently inside my apartment, is this normal?

Recently moved back home to Houston after not living here for 8 years. My apartment has felt unusually humid despite having the A/C on so I invested in two of these with one in my bedroom and one in my living room. Not sure if it's something I should bring up to my apartment complex or something I have to deal with myself. I live next to Braes Bayou as well.
