Culinary Question – Why is everyone out of Soy?

Hiya,

I am not looking to bathe in it, but I can't find single bottles of good soy on the north side. I have been to a number of stores, and everyone is out. All that is left is the bulk or store bands (sometimes) or the Tamari's. I have been to a couple of the Asian market's on the north side. I am about to head inside.

I am asking here because Houston is one of the epicurean centers of the world and many of us are consummate foodies and know a lot about the food world. Anyone know anything about this?
