Crumbling roads

I’ve lived here for 12 years and we all know the roads are s**t. However within the last 12 months, my vehicle has been damaged by loose concrete on the roadways. The most recent damage occurred yesterday and now I’m just mad. Are we just supposed to accept this? Is there any recourse to holding the city accountable for the repairs needed to my vehicle?
