Crazy Water Usage Not Matching Actual Usage

I check my water usage occasionally. Not often, but a couple of times a month. Just to make sure nothing crazy is going on. For the first time, I saw something that was panic inducing.

According to the chart, I used almost 5,000 gallons on the 23rd. Well, I didn’t. I promise. I notice people are quick to say “you’ve got a leak, trust me” with a lot of confidence. I don’t. The very next day on the 24th, I use 80 gallons of water. Leaks don’t repair themselves.

But moreover, when I go into my hourly usage for that day, the day before, and, of course, the day after- nothing even close to 4,750 gallons is used. And finally, when I check my actual meter I’ve only used 1460 gallons of water since the last billed meter reading on the 22nd.

What the eff??? Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone checked their usage lately to see if the graph is wildly off, but all other data looks accurate?
