CPA recommendations or Turboax? Laid off but found an independent contractor/freelancer job during the quarantine.

I was laid off of my job during the quarantine but was fortunate to find a remote-only work. They are paying me through Upwork as a contractor. It's not the most ideal arrangement, but at least it's income.

I've never done any business taxes and have no idea how what I need to do. Can I just do them like normal taxes through turbotax at the end of the year and let the software figure out how much I owe?

Or do I need to talk to a CPA (any recommendations on who to use on the southside of Houston)?
