Coziest spots in town to enjoy the cold wet weather?

I'm thinking like, old house converted into mom and pop cafe…. a small hidden away bookstore with warm lights and warmer atmosphere … or this little known observation tower with a great view of the city … something! somewhere to bring yourself, your journal, and a good attitude. like agora in montrose, sycamore grounds in pasadena, but not necessarily a cafe, just somewhere where i can be surrounded by good atmosphere to osmosis some social interaction for the day lol
