could we get an election day safety thread going?

Just seeing if anyone else is interested, im sure houston reddit will be getting plenty of related posts regardless.

im interested in live updates on the houston area for nov 3 and onward, sometimes people here have good insider info. Like for example are we going to see another large caravan or not? things of that nature. I usually look at the snapchat map, twitter, news, etc reddit comments sometimes have really useful info, I just have to sift through the political debates and memes.

Maybe we can have a thread that at least tries to remain civil and focused on factual updates, less politics? trolls gonna troll, flame war if you have to

i don't want to take away from that thread. Go there for voting information and all things related by all means. In this thread im looking for people who have the scoop on things like possible rallies, protests, etc. Im not interested in predictions and arguments about what could happen. Just news about things to look out for when traveling in and around houston.
