Could David Johnson be Legit

All Hopkins trade talk and contract values aside, the Texans haven’t had a RB with the possibility of being elite since Foster left. Looking at that spectacular 2016-2017 year David Johnson had, the bad circumstances he was in since then, now hearing how fast he looks at training camp and that he may be in the best shape of everyone at training camp, could he be legit? Having a RB with his hands, strength, and straight line speed could have a humongous upside. I just binged some of his highlights and read up on the situation he was in and am really drinking the kool-aid this morning. What’re y’all’s thoughts? And dammit I’m depressed about Hopkins as much as anyone but I’m intrigued about what David Johnson could bring if he shows up like a 2016 version of himself.
