Corrected tax statements

For some context, I'm a first time homeowner and got a new build in January 2024. I just got a corrected tax statement for 2023 and 2022. I've called the tax office that sent this to us and she wasn't very helpful, as well as my escrow officer saying that I'm responsible for this bill. It may be a stupid question, but am I responsible for previous tax years if I got this house in 24?
