Cool story(at least I think so) from the Rangers game today.

Wanted to share a cool thing that randomly happened to me today. I have been off work for a couple weeks while I recover from shoulder surgery, recovery is going well just slow. I moved to Dallas a couple years ago for work,(originally from the 409). Outside of co-workers, really do not know many people in the area., anxiety is a beast. Going to a baseball game by myself was a scary thought. But JV was pitching today @ 1pm, I was able to find a ticket last night 1st Row 3rd base line so I would be near the Astros dugout, awesomeness.

Game was great JV was really throwing heat today consistently. About 3rd inning I noticed the guy to my right was wearing a 2005 NLCS ring. I asked him if that was real or a replica, he chuckled and showed me the side, it was former GM Tim Purpura. Real nice guy, we chatted about the Astros for the rest of the game. I told him as an Astro fan I appreciated what he did for the franchise, he jokingly apologized for the Carlos Lee contract.

Go Stros!
