Consultants for mental health in Houston

I have a very mentally sick (schizophrenic) family member who I am desperately trying to help.

He has absolutely refused any mental help or medicine and is getting worse by the day. He is currently living with his parents and is refusing to leave the house. He hallucinates things that have never happened about people that don’t know about him and I fear he will soon cause them (or us) harm.

If anybody can point me to the right direction as to who I can talk to for help I would appreciate it. Preferably a consultant or person that knows which steps I can take if he refuses help.

We have called several mental crisis lines and NAMI but they haven’t been much help since he is not an immediate danger. Psychiatrist can’t help much either since they need to talk to him to for a diagnosis.
