Communiting from Washington Ave—>Spring

(wanted to make location more accurate)

Those of you who live near washington ave or around there, how is the commute to spring in the morning and coming home? I have to be at work around 6:45am and I would ideally like to live in the heights, but Washington ave is much cheaper. Is the price difference worth the traffic?
