Come hang out with Texas Standard tonight

Hi y’all. This is Wells with Texas Standard – that statewide public radio program broadcasting weekdays on Houston Public Media 88.7.

We are in town for a live broadcast from the Houston Rodeo tomorrow. (We’re in Exhibit Hall E in the NRG Center, so come by at 10am tomorrow to see the show if you like!)

But tonight, we’re also having a casual get together at the West Alabama Ice House (on West Alabama street, they tell me.) We’ll be there from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight. We’ll have some Texas Standard swag; you can talk to David Brown, the staff and myself about what you’d like to hear on the show.
