College football championship metro rail

Hey there! First time to Houston! I’m coming in to town to see the ncaa college championship at nrg stadium. I’m staying at the Marriott right next to the Dryden/tmc Metrorail station. This stop is only 2 away from astrodome station. When the train comes and I’m there to board to the stadium won’t it be completely packed and too full since it’s almost to where everyone’s going? Or will I be able to get on still? any tips? Thanks !!
