clubs? things to do?

i am entering my mid? late? 20s and i suddenly feel like i have to start pushing myself more into different local scenes because i know i wont be able to leave houston/texas anytime soon (as badly as i would like to..)

with that being said.. what is everyone else doing besides bar hopping or going to the club? -_-
