I think this is a better stat as we’re dealing with bye weeks because all QBs can be judged evenly. Sam Howell and Josh Allen will both likely have more total yards after this week, but they’ve both played one more game and have a much lower yards per game.

Unrelated, if he can maintain it. I believe he’d be the first rookie QB to lead the nfl in passing yards in the modern era.
