CJ STROUD IS A TEXAN

Yo! What's good everyone.

I got some points and I want your engagement.

Also I'm very new to this space and still highly uninformed in how well Stroud's skills are compared to NFL QB's.

Now, 2 things that really sticks out to me as to why CJ Stroud is a strong fit for Texans with DeMeco as head coach is that in his interview with the Pivot Podcast, his mentality is very calculated and strong willed, there's a part in the video where they discuss somewhere along the lines of, how did he come to be OSU QB. So he talks about coming up with bryce young and DJ and how they got offers in 8th grade, what sticks out to me is that his freshman year he said he didn't even play but his senior year is when the offers flooded in as well as ELITE 11, that says so much between the lines because it means that even though he wasn't QB in freshman year he still stuck around and most likely trained and perfected his craft, any other family would transfer their child to another school to get their child as starting QB which tells me he's a patient, hard worker, that doesn't particularly fold easy in front of challenges.

Now the 2nd thing that sticks out to me is his demeanour and his ability to establish strong bonded relationships with his family, friends and his team, if you watch the interview you will see how rich he builds his team bond up, by getting them to participate in his NIL partnerships to get exposure, and his stories of taking them for rides in his G wagon to get food aswell as much more. All these bonding actions OUTSIDE of the game eliminated his family, friends & team ever getting jealous of him because his actions show you that he's a selfless person that won't look down on you or change his character because of money.

To me, why I think he's the perfect fit in Texans right now from what I've seen of him & bryce young, comes down to his ability to effortlessly build strong relationship bonds. Now the reason why I think that will play a huge role in the draft pick is because DeMeco Ryans was that exact same relationship building person in his Texans team as ive seen how much they praise him in interviews, he continues to maintain strong bonds so he truly does understand why that is what's needed at the Texans right now ESPECIALLY coming from a QB. So my thoughts are if the QB is the one that shapes the Texans relationships to form into a brotherhood, then the team itself will elevate in confidence, respect for eachother and overall trust in eachothers abilities and the QB as a leader.

It's just my opinion so don't take it too seriously. đŸ€˜
