City Services Failures

I’m so sick of the City of Houston’s BS services.

• My normal garbage collection is sporadic. I have to report missed pick ups often.

• It’s been 2 weeks since my tree waste was supposed to be picked up. Now my lawn is dead underneath the limbs/branches.

• They “dug out” the ditches in front on my house to improve drainage down the street. The ditches were dug too deep and now I have a pond (mosquito farm) in front of my house for weeks after a rain. I called 311 and asked them to back fill it and they stated there was no issue and closed the case.

Is this what I pay taxes for? For the city to jack up my yard and not pick up my trash?
